Listening in the foothills. Leading in Raleigh.
Vote on November 3, 2026
Early Vote October 15 – October 31
Welcome! I’m Park Inglefield.
I’m honored to be running to represent the 96th District in the North Carolina House of Representatives. This district is my home – the place I grew up, left for a time, and returned with a deeper appreciation for the people and experiences that make the 96th so special.
People throughout this district — even those outside Hickory who couldn't vote for me for mayor — told me they wanted leadership that listens and gets things done. In the State House, I'll be able to help even more neighbors and bring the responsive, effective representation our district deserves.
While running for Mayor, I heard from voters concerned about issues that can’t be solved locally: our crumbling roads and bridges, strained infrastructure, healthcare costs, and underfunded schools. These problems require state funding, state policies, and state action. All roads lead to Raleigh, and that's where I'm taking our fight.
I'm running for the North Carolina House of Representatives to serve the 96th District because our region deserves a voice in Raleigh that fights for what you need.
Why I’m Running:
To ensure people can live and work in District 96 with quality infrastructure and accessible services.
To bring openness and accountability into every decision and make sure your tax dollars work for you.
To bring responsive, collaborative leadership based on what you have told me matters most.
My Commitment to You:
This campaign isn't just about my story — it's about yours. Over the coming weeks, I'll continue doing what allowed me to truly understand our community's needs: I'll talk to you. I'll meet with experts, workers, community leaders, and business owners to ensure this campaign is built around what District 96 actually needs.
I want to hear from you. What issues matter most to you? What would make your life better? Your input will help shape my policy proposals and platform.
No matter your background or beliefs, you deserve a representative in Raleigh who will work for you. I'm ready to bring that commitment to the State House.
I am running for NC House District 96 to put people first.
